Product Description

A large closed-loop hybrid stepper motor drives our 2000ml, 3600ml, and 4000ml extruder. This motor is also capable of extruding thicker clay or paste at a much higher rate. Compared to the stepper motor used on the 1000ml extruder.

The Ram extruder is designed to extrude thick mixes of clay and ceramic material. These extruders are not limited to the use of clay; they are food-safe, allowing for printing paste-like materials like frosting or chocolate.

Linear RAM package includes:
- Extruder Assembly
- 2 poly-carbonate ml tubes (1000, 2000, 3600, or 4000ml)
- Driver Tool for fast loading/unloading
- Wire connectors
- White lithium grease
- 4 anodized aluminum nozzles (sizes: 3, 4, 5, and 6mm)
- Extra screws
- Extra seal
- Power supply (2000, 3600, and 4000ml only)

Weights (when fully loaded with clay):

1000ml ~8lb

2000ml ~17lb

3600ml ~27lb

4000ml ~30lb.

We do not provide a control device for the motor on this extruder. Please consult the wiring diagram above to connect this motor to the printer or driver.

Please note, the 4000ml tube when fully loaded (with clay) is 30lbs. We do not recommend the use of this product on the Scara V4. We recommend using the 10 XL.  It is our only printer that can handle this weight reliably.
